I’m the cofounder of Llama, an onchain governance and access control platform. We are contributing to a new economy powered by open-source software, permissionless capital formation, and liquid labor.

Contributing in crypto feels like worldbuilding; you and your friends operate under the premise that magic exists.

I value authenticity, humor, and resonance.

Few things I treasure:

  • my old car, which I’ve driven to exhaustion
  • my cap, which reads, “the mountains are calling and I must go”
  • my notebook that has a record of my random ideas, including solving sleep, building a school entirely run by children, and designing an alternative to price determined by demand and supply

I enjoy running, playing basketball, and watching live stand-up. I did my first triathlon recently and have an appreciation for endurance: doing something you like for a very long time.

I like taking social risk — smiling at a stranger before they smile back, supporting someone with a weak social network, riffing on an unfamiliar ideology, and traveling with a new person.

The Beginning of Infinity by David Deutsch has been foundational to my understanding of how knowledge is created and progress is made. It also serves as a personal philosophy. Anything that isn’t impossible according to the laws of physics is possible, with sufficient knowledge.

I’m always down to chat with new people or meet up in New York — feel free to DM me on Twitter.
